Our Language Access Solutions

Language Access Audits of your systems, policies, and practices to determine whether they comply with federal and state language access laws (including Section 1557 of the ACA) and population-specific, clinical best practices when treating Limited English Proficient and Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients.

Language Access Consulting Services provide one-on-one guidance to assist you in developing, implementing, or revising a Language Access Plan (LAP) or addressing specific challenges in language access. We can also develop continuing medical education for providers, grand round presentations, staff training, e-learning, and microlearning programs.

Provider Cross-Cultural Medical Assessment evaluates whether your physicians’ and advanced practice providers’ self-disclosed, language access-related practice behaviors conform to legal requirements and clinical best practices based on benchmarking your data. Providers are emailed an individualized feedback report within minutes. This tool has been featured at national language access conferences sponsored by the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC), the California Healthcare Interpreting Association (CHIA), the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), and the Massachusetts Medical Interpreter Training Program.
