Our first loyalties are naturally to our family and friends, our community, and our nation. But, in a world that is increasingly smaller, reduced by the speed of travel and ease of communication, we must also think and act globally.

Seeing ourselves as part of a global society is exciting and directly relevant to our lives. As the economic and intellectual forces of the world becomes increasingly global, we cannot help but be in the center of this vital progress. Our society is becoming increasingly diverse.

Globalism enables us to challenge misinformation and stereotyped views about others and ourselves.

We live in an interdependent world. Globalism encourages us to focus on our responsibilities to others.

We live in a rapidly changing world. Globalism teaches us flexibility and adaptability, and gives us a positive sense of the future.
